இப்படியே யோர்தானுக்கு இப்புறத்திலுள்ள அர்னோன் நதிதொடங்கி, எர்மோன் மலைவரைக்குமுள்ள தேசத்தை நாம் அக்காலத்தில் ஏமோரியருடைய இரண்டு ராஜாக்களிடமிருந்து பிடித்தோம்.

“அவ்வாறு, இரண்டு எமோரிய அரசர்களின் நிலத்தைக் கைப்பற்றினோம். அர்னோன் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலிருந்து எர்மோன் மலைவரைக்கும் யோர்தான் நதிக்குக் கிழக்கில் அந்நிலத்தைக் கைப்பற்றினோம்.

அவ்வேளையில் எமோரியரின் இரண்டு மன்னர்களிடமிருந்ததும், யோர்தானுக்கு இக்கரையிலிருக்கும் அர்னோன் ஓடை தொடங்கி எர்மோன் மலை வரையிலும் உள்ள நாட்டைக் கைப்பற்றினோம்.
