நீ பிழைத்துப் பெருகும்படிக்கும், நீ சுதந்தரிக்கப்போகிற தேசத்தில் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்படிக்கும், நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரில் அன்புகூரவும், அவர் வழிகளில் நடக்கவும், அவர் கற்பனைகளையும் கட்டளைகளையும் நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொள்ளவும், நான் இன்று உனக்குக் கற்பிக்கிறேன்.

உனது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நேசிக்கும்படி இன்று நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிறேன். அவரைப் பின்பற்றும்படியும் அவரது சட்டங்களுக்கும், விதிகளுக்கும், கட்டளைகளுக்கும் கீழ்ப்படியுமாறு நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிறேன். பிறகு நீ வாழ்வாய், உனது ஜனம் பெரிதாக வளரும். உனக்குச் சொந்தமாக்கிக்கொள்ள நீ நுழைகின்ற இந்த நாட்டில் உன்னை, உனது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.

அது இதுதான்; இன்று நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிறேன். உன் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர்மீது அன்பு பாராட்டு. அவரைப் பின்பற்றி அவரது வழியில் நட. அவரது கட்டளைகளையும், நியமங்களையும், முறைமைகளையும் கடைப்பிடி. அப்போது நீ வாழ்வாய், நீ பலுகுவாய். நீ உடைமையாகக் கொள்ளப்போகும் நாட்டில் உன் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர் உனக்கு ஆசிவழங்குவார்.
