இணை வசனம்

பூமி ஒருபோதும் நிலைபேராதபடி அதின் ஆதாரங்கள்மேல் அதை ஸ்தாபித்தார்.

வானமும் பூமியும் ஒழிந்துபோம், என் வார்த்தைகளோ ஒழிந்துபோவதில்லை.

உங்கள் பிதாக்கள் எங்கே? தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் என்றென்றைக்கும் உயிரோடிருப்பார்களோ?

நிழலைப்போன்ற மாயையான தன் ஜீவகாலத்தைப் போக்கும் மனுஷனுக்கு இந்த ஜீவனில் நன்மை இன்னதென்று அறிந்தவன் யார்? தனக்குப்பின்பு சூரியனுக்குக் கீழே சம்பவிக்குங்காரியம் இன்னதென்று மனுஷனுக்கு அறிவிப்பவன் யார்?

கர்த்தருடைய நாள் இரவிலே திருடன் வருகிறவிதமாய் வரும்; அப்பொழுது வானங்கள் மடமட என்று அகன்றுபோம், பூதங்கள் வெந்து உருகிப்போம், பூமியும் அதிலுள்ள கிரியைகளுமெரிந்து அழிந்துபோம்.

எங்கள் நாட்களெல்லாம் உமது கோபத்தால் போய்விட்டது; ஒருகதையைப்போல் எங்கள் வருஷங்களைக் களைத்துப்போட்டோம்.

அப்பொழுது நான்: தேவனே, பாதி வயதில் என்னை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளாதேயும்; உம்முடைய வருஷங்கள் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக இருக்கும்.

உம்முடைய உண்மை தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக இருக்கும்; பூமியை உறுதிப்படுத்தினீர். அது நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.

ஆதாம் நூற்று முப்பது வயதானபோது, தன் சாயலாகத் தன் ரூபத்தின்படியே ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெற்று, அவனுக்குச் சேத் என்று பேரிட்டான்.

ரெகூ முப்பத்திரண்டு வயதானபோது, செரூகைப் பெற்றான்.

சேயீர்மலையில் இருக்கிற ஏதோமியருடைய தகப்பனாகிய ஏசாவின் சந்ததிகளும்,

அதற்கு யாக்கோபு: நான் பரதேசியாய்ச் சஞ்சரித்த நாட்கள் நூற்று முப்பது வருஷம்; என் ஆயுசுநாட்கள் கொஞ்சமும் சஞ்சலமுள்ளதுமாயிருக்கிறது; அவைகள் பரதேசிகளாய்ச் சஞ்சரித்த என் பிதாக்களுடைய ஆயுசு நாட்களுக்கு வந்து எட்டவில்லை என்று பார்வோனுடனே சொன்னான்.

யோசேப்பும் அவனுடைய சகோதரர் யாவரும், அந்தத் தலைமுறையார் எல்லாரும் மரணமடைந்தார்கள்.

உற்பத்திக் கிரமப்படி பிறந்த லேவியின் குமாரருடைய நாமங்களாவன, கெர்சோன், கோகாத், மெராரி என்பவைகள். லேவி நூற்று முப்பத்தேழு வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்தான்.

என் ஜீவன் எவ்வளவு நிலையற்றது என்பதை நினைத்தருளும்; மனுபுத்திரர் யாவரையும் வீணாகச் சிருஷ்டிக்க வேண்டியதென்ன?
