வாலிபனே! உன் இளமையிலே சந்தோஷப்படு, உன் வாலிப நாட்களிலே உன் இருதயம் உன்னைப் பூரிப்பாக்கட்டும்; உன் நெஞ்சின் வழிகளிலும், உன் கண்ணின் காட்சிகளிலும் நட; ஆனாலும் இவையெல்லாவற்றினிமித்தமும் தேவன் உன்னை நியாயத்திலே கொண்டுவந்து நிறுத்துவார் என்று அறி.

இளைஞர்களே! இளமையாய் இருக்கும்போதே மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருங்கள். அனுபவியுங்கள். உங்கள் மனம் போனபடி இருங்கள். நீங்கள் விரும்புகிறவற்றைச் செய்யுங்கள். ஆனால் உங்கள் செயல்களையெல்லாம் தேவன் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பார் என்பதை மறந்துவிடாதீர்கள்.

இளையோரே! இளமைப் பருவம் மகிழ்ச்சியோடிருப்பதற்கே. இளமையின் நாள்களில் உள்ளக் களிப்புடனிருங்கள். மனம் விரும்புவதைச் செய்யுங்கள்; கண்களின் நாட்டத்தை நிறைவேற்றுங்கள். ஆனால், நீங்கள் செய்கிற ஒவ்வொரு செயலுக்கும் உரிய தீர்ப்பைக் கடவுள் வழங்குவார் என்பதை மறவாதீர்கள்.⒫
