பிரசங்கி 12:11
ஞானிகளின் வாக்கியங்கள் தாற்றுக்கோல்கள்போலவும் சங்கத்தலைவர்களால் அறையப்பட்ட ஆணிகள்போலவும் இருக்கிறது; அவைகள் ஒரே மேய்ப்பனால் அளிக்கப்பட்டது.

ஞானிகளின் வார்த்தைகள் மிருகங்களை வழி நடத்தப் பயன்படும் கூர்மையான கோல்களைப் போல இருக்கும். அவர்களின் போதனைகள் என்றும் உடைந்துபோகாத உறுதியான ஆப்புகளைப் போன்றிருக்கும். வாழ்க்கைக்கு வழிகாட்டும் இப்போதனைகள் நம்பிக்கைக்கு உரியவை. இந்த ஞானப் போதனைகள் எல்லாம், அதே மேய்ப்பனிடமிருந்து (தேவன்) வந்தவை.
