அந்த ஐசுவரியம் விக்கினத்தால் அழிந்துபோகிறது; அவன் ஒரு புத்திரனைப் பெறுகிறான், அவன் வாயில் யாதொன்றும் இல்லை.

அந்த ஐசுவரியம் துரதிர்ஷ்டத்தினால் அழிந்துபோகிறது; அவன் ஒரு மகனைப் பெறுகிறான்; அவனுடைய கையில் ஒன்றும் இல்லை.

இணை வசனம்

கர்த்தர் கொல்லுகிறவரும் உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிறார்; அவரே பாதாளத்தில் இறங்கவும் அதிலிருந்து ஏறவும் பண்ணுகிறவர்.

அப்பொழுது உன் வீட்டாரில் மீதியாயிருப்பவன் எவனும் ஒரு வெள்ளிப்பணத்துக்காகவும் ஒரு அப்பத்துணிக்கைக்காகவும் அவனிடத்தில் வந்து பணிந்து: நான் கொஞ்சம் அப்பம் சாப்பிட யாதொரு ஆசாரிய ஊழியத்தில் என்னைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளும் என்று கெஞ்சுவான் என்று சொல்லுகிறார் என்றான்.

கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் பொக்கிஷங்களையும், ராஜாவுடைய அரமனையின் பொக்கிஷங்களையும், சாலொமோன் செய்வித்த பொன் பரிசைகள் ஆகிய சகலத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போய்விட்டான்.

பசித்தவன் அவன் விளைச்சலை முட்செடிகளுக்குள்ளுமிருந்து பறித்துத் தின்றான்; பறிகாரன் அவன் ஆஸ்தியை விழுங்கினான்.

அவன் விழுங்கின ஆஸ்தியைக் கக்குவான்; தேவன் அதை அவன் வயிற்றிலிருந்து வெளியே தள்ளிவிடுவார்.

அவன் புழுதியைப் போலப் பணத்தைக் குவித்துக்கொண்டாலும், மண்ணைப்போல வஸ்திரங்களைச் சவதரித்தாலும்,

வேஷமாகவே மனுஷன் திரிகிறான்; விருதாவாகவே சஞ்சலப்படுகிறான்; ஆஸ்தியைச் சேர்க்கிறான். யார் அதை வாரிக்கொள்ளுவான் என்று அறியான்.

அவன் பிள்ளைகள் திக்கற்றவர்களும், அவன் மனைவி விதவையுமாகக்கடவர்கள்.

இல்லாமற்போகும் பொருள்மேல் உன்கண்களைப் பறக்கவிடுவானேன்? அது கழுகைப்போல சிறகுகளைத் தனக்கு உண்டுபண்ணிக்கொண்டு, ஆகாயமார்க்கமாய்ப் பறந்துபோம்.

தேவன் தமது பார்வைக்கு நல்லவனாயிருக்கிறவனுக்கு ஞானத்தையும் அறிவையும் இன்பத்தையும் அளிக்கிறார்; பாவஞ்செய்கிறவனுக்கோ தமது பார்வைக்கு நல்லவனாயிருக்கிறவன் வசமாய் வைத்துவிட்டுப் போகும்பொருட்டுச் சேர்த்துக் குவித்துவைக்கும் தொல்லையை அவர் நியமித்திருக்கிறார்; இதுவும் மாயையும், மனதுக்குச் சஞ்சலமுமாயிருக்கிறது.

அதிகமாய் வருமென்று நீங்கள் எதிர்பார்த்திருந்தும், இதோ, கொஞ்சம் கிடைத்தது; நீங்கள் அறுத்து வீட்டுக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தும், நான் அதை ஊதிப்போடுகிறேன்; எதினிமித்தமென்றால், என் வீடு பாழாய்க்கிடக்கும்போது நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் அவனவன் தன் தன் வீட்டிற்கு ஓடிப்போகிறீர்களே, இதினிமித்தமே என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

அந்த நாட்கள் முதல் ஒருவன் இருபது மரக்காலாகக் கண்ட அம்பாரத்தினிடத்தில் வந்தபோது, பத்துமரக்கால்மாத்திரம் இருந்தது; ஒருவன் ஆலையின் தொட்டியில் ஐம்பதுகுடம் மொள்ள ஆலையினிடத்திலே வந்தபோது இருபது குடம்மாத்திரம் இருந்தது.

பூமியிலே உங்களுக்குப் பொக்கிஷங்களைச் சேர்த்து வைக்கவேண்டாம்; இங்கே பூச்சியும் துருவும் அவைகளைக் கெடுக்கும்; இங்கே திருடரும் கன்னமிட்டுத் திருடுவார்கள்.
