இணை வசனம்

கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் ஆயுசுநாட்களைப் பெருகப்பண்ணும்; துன்மார்க்கருடைய வருஷங்களோ குறுகிப்போம்.

தேவனே, நீர் அவர்களை அழிவின் குழியில் இறங்கப்பண்ணுவீர்; இரத்தப்பிரியரும் சூதுள்ள மனுஷரும் தங்கள் ஆயுளின் நாட்களில் பாதிவரையிலாகிலும் பிழைத்திருக்கமாட்டார்கள்; நானோ உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.

யூதாவின் மூத்தமகனாகிய ஏர் என்பவன் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாதவனாயிருந்ததினால், கர்த்தர் அவனை அழித்துப் போட்டார்.

கர்த்தர் நாபாலை வாதித்ததினால், ஏறக்குறையப் பத்துநாளுக்குப்பின்பு, அவன் செத்தான்.

அது அவன் நாள் வருமுன்னே அவனுக்குப் பூரணமாய்ப் பலிக்கும்; அவனுடைய கொப்புப் பச்சைகொள்வதில்லை.

காலம் வருமுன்னே அவர்கள் வாடிப்போனார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய அஸ்திபாரத்தின்மேல் வெள்ளம் புரண்டது.

அனனியா இந்த வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கவே, விழுந்து ஜீவனை விட்டான். இவைகளைக் கேள்விப்பட்ட யாவருக்கும் மிகுந்த பயமுண்டாயிற்று.

உடனே அவள் அவனுடைய பாதத்தில் விழுந்து ஜீவனை விட்டாள். வாலிபர் உள்ளே வந்து, அவள் மரித்துப்போனதைக் கண்டு, அவளை வெளியே எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அவளுடைய புருஷனண்டையிலே அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

அவன் தேவனுக்கு மகிமையைச் செலுத்தாதபடியினால் உடனே கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் அவனை அடித்தான்; அவன் புழுப்புழுத்து இறந்தான்.

ஆகையால், நீங்கள் எல்லாவித அழுக்கையும் கொடிய துர்க்குணத்தையும் ஒழித்துவிட்டு, உங்கள் உள்ளத்தில் நாட்டப்பட்டதாயும் உங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களை இரட்சிக்க வல்லமையுள்ளதாயுமிருக்கிற வசனத்தைச் சாந்தமாய் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

நேசத்தைத் தேடும்படிக்கு நீ உன் வழிகளை நயப்படுத்துகிறதென்ன? இவ்விதமாய் நீ பொல்லாத ஸ்திரீகளுக்கும் உன் வழிகளைக் கற்றுக்கொடுத்தாய்.

அப்பொழுது அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: மனுபுத்திரனே, இதைக் கண்டாயா? இங்கே யூதா வம்சத்தார் செய்கிற அருவருப்புகள் அற்பமான காரியமா? அவர்கள் தேசத்தைக் கொடுமையினால் நிரப்பி என்னை அடிக்கடி கோபமூட்டுகிறார்கள்; இதோ, அவர்கள் திராட்சக்கிளையைத் தங்கள் நாசிக்கு நேராகப் பிடிக்கிறார்கள்.

நீ எனக்குப் பெற்ற உன் குமாரரையும் உன் குமாரத்திகளையும் எடுத்து, அவர்களை அவைகளுக்கு இரையாகப் பலியிட்டாய்.
