துன்மார்க்கனோ நன்றாயிருப்பதில்லை; அவன் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகப் பயப்படாதிருக்கிறபடியால் நிழலைப்போலிருக்கிற அவனுடைய வாழ்நாள் நீடித்திருப்பதுமில்லை.

தீயவர்கள் தேவனுக்கு மரியாதை செலுத்துவதில்லை. எனவே அவர்கள் நல்லவற்றைப் பெறுவதில்லை. அவர்கள் நீண்ட வாழ்க்கையைப் பெறுவதில்லை. சூரியன் அஸ்தமிக்கும்போது நிழல் நீண்டு தோன்றுவதுபோன்று, அவர்களின் வாழ்க்கை வளருவதில்லை.
