அவரவருடைய மனதின்படியே செய்யலாம் என்று ராஜா தன் அரமனையின் பெரிய மனுஷருக்கெல்லாம் கட்டளையிட்டிருந்தபடியினால் முறைப்படி பானம்பண்ணினார்கள்; ஒருவனும் பலவந்தம்பண்ணவில்லை.

அவரவருடைய மனதின்படியே செய்யலாம் என்று ராஜா தன்னுடைய அரண்மனையின் பெரிய மனிதர்களுக்கெல்லாம் கட்டளையிட்டிருந்தபடியால், முறைப்படி குடித்தார்கள்; ஒருவனும் கட்டாயப்படுத்தவில்லை.

அரசன் தனது வேலைக்காரர்களுக்கு ஒரு கட்டளை இட்டிருந்தான். ஒவ்வொரு விருந்தாளியும் அவரது விருப்பம்போல் திராட்சைரசத்தைக் குடிக்கட்டும் என்று சொல்லியிருந்தான். திராட்சைரசம் பரிமாறுபவன் அரசனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தான்.

திராட்சை மது அருந்துதல் சட்டப்படி ஏற்புடையதாக இருந்தது. ஒருவரும் வற்புறுத்தப்படவில்லை. விருந்தினரின் விருப்பத்திற்கிணங்கப் பரிமாறுமாறு அரண்மனையின் தலைமை அலுவலர்களுக்கு அரசர் கட்டளையிட்டிருந்தார்.⒫
