நான் எகிப்திலே நடப்பித்ததையும் நான் அவர்களுக்குள் செய்த என் அடையாளங்களையும், நீ உன் பிள்ளைகளின் செவிகள் கேட்கவும், உன் பிள்ளைகளுடைய பிள்ளைகளின் செவிகள் கேட்கவும் விவரித்துச் சொல்லும்படிக்கும், நானே கர்த்தர் என்பதை நீங்கள் அறியும்படிக்கும், நான் அவன் இருதயத்தையும் அவன் ஊழியக்காரரின் இருதயத்தையும் கடினப்படுத்தினேன் என்றார்.

நான் எகிப்திலே நடப்பித்ததையும் நான் அவர்களுக்குள் செய்த என்னுடைய அடையாளங்களையும், நீ உன்னுடைய பிள்ளைகளின் காதுகள் கேட்கவும், உன்னுடைய பிள்ளைகளுடைய பிள்ளைகளின் காதுகள் கேட்கவும் விவரித்துச் சொல்லும்படியும், நானே கர்த்தர் என்பதை நீங்கள் அறியும்படியும், நான் அவனுடைய இருதயத்தையும் அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரர்களின் இருதயத்தையும் கடினப்படுத்தினேன் என்றார்.

நான் எகிப்தில் செய்த அற்புதங்களையும், மற்ற அதிசயமான காரியங்களையும் குறித்து நீங்கள் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும், பேரப்பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் சொல்வதற்காகவும் நான் இதைச் செய்தேன். அப்போது நானே கர்த்தர் என்பதை நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் அறவீர்கள்” என்றார்.

என் அருஞ்செயல்களை அவன் முன்னிலையில் நிலைநாட்டுவதும், எகிப்துக்கு எதிராக நான் போராடி அவர்களிடையே நான் செய்த அருஞ்செயல்கள் பற்றி நீ உன் மக்களுக்கும் உன் மக்களின் மக்களுக்கும் விவரித்துச் சொல்வதும் ஆகும். இதன் மூலம் நானே ஆண்டவர் என்று நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்வீர்கள்” என்றார்.⒫
