மூன்றாம் நாளைக்கு ஆயத்தப்பட்டிருக்கக்கடவர்கள்; மூன்றாம் நாளில் கர்த்தர் சகல ஜனங்களுக்கும் பிரத்தியட்சமாகச் சீனாய்மலையின்மேல் இறங்குவார்.

ஆசாரியன் தாவீதுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: பரிசுத்த அப்பம் இருக்கிறதே ஒழிய, சாதாரண அப்பம் என் கையில் இல்லை; வாலிபர் ஸ்திரீகளோடேமாத்திரம் சேராதிருந்தால் கொடுப்பேன் என்றான்.

உபவாசத்திற்கும் ஜெபத்திற்கும் தடையிராதபடிக்கு இருவரும் சிலகாலம் பிரிந்திருக்கவேண்டுமென்று சம்மதித்தாலன்றி, ஒருவரைவிட்டு ஒருவர் பிரியாதிருங்கள்; உங்களுக்கு விரதத்துவம் இல்லாமையால் சாத்தான் உங்களைத் தூண்டிவிடாதபடிக்கு, மறுபடியும் கூடி வாழுங்கள்.

மூன்றாம் நாள் விடியற்காலத்தில் இடிமுழக்கங்களும் மின்னல்களும், மலையின்மேல் கார்மேகமும் மகா பலத்த எக்காளசத்தமும் உண்டாயிற்று; பாளயத்திலிருந்த ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் நடுங்கினார்கள்.

ஜனத்தைக் கட்டுங்கள், சபையைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துங்கள்; முதியோரைச் சேருங்கள், பிள்ளைகளையும் பாலுண்கிற குழந்தைகளையும் கூட்டுங்கள்; மணவாளன் தன் அறையையும், மணவாட்டி தன் மறைவையும் விட்டுப்புறப்படுவார்களாக.

ஆகையால் இஸ்ரவேலே, இந்தப்பிரகாரமாக உனக்குச் செய்வேன்; இஸ்ரவேலே, நான் இப்படி உனக்குச்செய்யப்போகிறபடியினால் உன் தேவனைச் சந்திக்கும்படி ஆயத்தப்படு.

மூன்றாம் இரதத்தில் வெள்ளைக்குதிரைகளும், நான்காம் இரதத்தில் புள்ளிபுள்ளியான சிவப்புக்குதிரைகளும் பூட்டியிருந்தன.

நாங்கள் இத்தனை வருஷம்வரையிலே செய்ததுபோல ஐந்தாம் மாதத்திலே அழுது ஒடுக்கத்திலிருக்கவேண்டுமோ என்று சேனைகளுடைய கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்திலிருக்கும் ஆசாரியரிடத்திலும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளிடத்திலும் கேட்கவும், சரேத்சேரும் ரெகெம்மெலேகும் அவனுடைய மனுஷரும் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்துக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டார்கள்.

தேசம் புலம்பிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்; ஒவ்வொரு வம்சமும் தனித்தனியாகப் புலம்பும்; தாவீது குடும்பத்தார் தனியேயும், அவர்கள் ஸ்திரீகள் தனியேயும், நாத்தான் குடும்பத்தார் தனியேயும், அவர்கள் ஸ்திரீகள் தனியேயும்,

ஆனாலும் அவர் வரும் நாளை சகிப்பவன் யார்? அவர் வெளிப்படுகையில் நிலைநிற்பவன் யார்? அவர் புடமிடுகிறவனுடைய அக்கினியைப்போலவும், வண்ணாருடைய சவுக்காரத்தைப்போலவும் இருப்பார்.

இப்பொழுதே கோடரியானது மரங்களின் வேர் அருகே வைத்திருக்கிறது. ஆகையால் நல்ல கனிகொடாத மரமெல்லாம் வெட்டுண்டு அக்கினியிலே போடப்படும்.

நீங்கள் நினையாத நாழிகையிலே மனுஷகுமாரன் வருவார்; ஆதலால், நீங்களும் ஆயத்தமாயிருங்கள்.

இப்படி இவைகளெல்லாம் அழிந்துபோகிறதாயிருக்கிறபடியால் நீங்கள் எப்படிப்பட்ட பரிசுத்த நடக்கையும் தேவபக்தியும் உள்ளவர்களாயிருக்கவேண்டும்!
