அபராதம் கொடுக்கும்படி தீர்க்கப்பட்டதானால், அவன் தன் ஜீவனை மீட்கும் பொருளாக விதிக்கப்பட்ட அபராதத்கைக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

மரித்த மனிதனின் குடும்பத்தினர் ஈடாகப் பணத்தைப் பெறலாம், அவர்கள் பணத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும் பட்சத்தில் மாட்டின் உரிமையாளனைக் கொல்லத் தேவையில்லை. ஆனால் நீதிபதி கூறும் ஈடுப் பணத்தை அவன் செலுத்தவேண்டும்.
