யாத்திராகமம் 24:8
அப்பொழுது மோசே இரத்தத்தை எடுத்து, ஜனங்களின்மேல் தெளித்து, இந்த வார்த்தைகள் யாவையுங்குறித்து கர்த்தர் உங்களோடே பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையின் இரத்தம் இதுவே என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது மோசே இரத்தத்தை எடுத்து, மக்களின்மேல் தெளித்து, இந்த வார்த்தைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும்குறித்து கர்த்தர் உங்களோடு செய்த உடன்படிக்கையின் இரத்தம் இதுவே என்றான்.

பலிகளின் இரத்தத்தைச் சேகரித்து வைத்திருந்த கிண்ணத்தை மோசே உயர்த்தி, இரத்தத்தை ஜனங் கள் மீது தெளித்தான். அவன், “கர்த்தர் உங்களோடு ஒரு விசேஷ உடன்படிக்கையைச் செய்தார் என்பதை இந்த இரத்தம் குறிக்கிறது. தேவன் கொடுத்த சட்டங்கள் இந்த உடன்படிக்கையை விளக்குகின் றன” என்றான்.

அப்போது மோசே இரத்தத்தை எடுத்து மக்கள்மேல் தெளித்து, “இவ்வனைத்து வார்த்தைக்குமிணங்க, ஆண்டவர் உங்களோடு செய்துள்ள உடன்படிக்கையின் இரத்தம் இதோ” என்றார்.⒫
