காளையின் மாம்சத்தையும் அதின் தோலையும் அதின் சாணியையும் பாளயத்துக்குப் புறம்பே அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிக்கக்கடவாய் ; இது பாவநிவாரணபலி.

பின் காளையின் மாமிசம், அதன் தோல், பிற பகுதிகளை எடுத்துவிட்டு பாளையத்துக்கு வெளியே கொண்டுபோய் அவற்றைச் சுட்டெரித்துவிடு. இதுவே ஆசாரியர்களின் பாவத்தைப் போக்குவதற்கான காணிக்கை ஆகும்.

காளையின் சதை, அதன் தோல், அதன் சாணம் இவற்றைப் பாளையத்திற்கு வெளியே நெருப்பால் எரித்துவிடு. இது ஒரு பாவம்போக்கும் பலி!⒫
