நீ போய், இஸ்ரவேலின் மூப்பரைக் கூட்டி, அவர்களிடத்தில்: ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கு யாக்கோபு என்பவர்களுடைய தேவனாயிருக்கிற உங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் எனக்குத் தரிசனமாகி, உங்களை நிச்சயமாய்ச் சந்தித்து, எகிப்தில் உங்களுக்குச் செய்யப்பட்டதைக் கண்டேன் என்றும்,

மேலும் கர்த்தர், “போய் ஜனங்களின் மூப்பர்களை (தலைவர்களை) ஒருமித்துக் கூடி வரச் செய்து அவர்களுக்கு, ‘உங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய யேகோவா, எனக்குத் தரிசனமளித்தார். ஆபிரகாம், ஈசாக்கு, யாக்கோபு, ஆகியோரின் தேவன் என்னிடம் பேசினார். கர்த்தர், நான் உங்களை நினைவுகூர்ந்து, எகிப்தில் உங்களுக்கு நடந்ததையும் கண்டேன்.

போ. இஸ்ரயேலின் பெரியோர்களை ஒன்றுதிரட்டி அவர்களை நோக்கி, ‘உங்கள் மூதாதையரின் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர் — ஆபிரகாமின் கடவுள், ஈசாக்கின் கடவுள், யாக்கோபின் கடவுள் — எனக்குக் காட்சியளித்து இவ்வாறு கூறினார்: உங்களையும், எகிப்தில் உங்களுக்கு நேரிட்டதையும் நான் கண்ணாலே கண்டுகொண்டேன்.
