அங்கே கர்த்தருடைய தூதனானவர் ஒரு முட்செடியின் நடுவிலிருந்து உண்டான அக்கினிஜுவாலையிலே நின்று அவனுக்குத் தரிசனமானார். அப்பொழுது அவன் உற்றுப்பார்த்தான்; முட்செடி அக்கினியால் ஜுவாலித்து எரிந்தும், அது வெந்துபோகாமல் இருந்தது.

அங்கே கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் ஒரு முட்செடியின் நடுவிலிருந்து உண்டான அக்கினித்தழலில் நின்று அவனுக்கு தரிசனமானார். அப்பொழுது அவன் உற்றுப்பார்த்தான்; முட்செடி அக்கினியால் பற்றி எரிந்தும், அது வெந்துபோகாமல் இருந்தது.

மோசே மலையின்மேல், ஒரு எரியும் புதரில் கர்த்தருடைய தூதனைக் கண்டான். அது பின்வருமாறு நிகழ்ந்தது: அழியாதபடி எரிந்துகொண்டிருந்த ஒரு புதரை மோசே கண்டான்.

அப்போது ஆண்டவரின் தூதர் ஒரு முட்புதரின் நடுவே தீப்பிழம்பில் அவருக்குத் தோன்றினார். அவர் பார்த்தபோது முட்புதர் நெருப்பால் எரிந்து கொண்டிருந்தது. ஆனால் ,அம்முட்புதர் தீய்ந்துபோகவில்லை.
