அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: எகிப்தில் இருக்கிற என் ஜனத்தின் உபத்திரவத்தை நான் பார்க்கவே பார்த்து, ஆளோட்டிகளினிமித்தம் அவர்கள் இடுகிற கூக்குரலைக் கேட்டேன், அவர்கள் படுகிற வேதனைகளையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: எகிப்திலிருக்கிற என்னுடைய மக்களின் உபத்திரவத்தை நான் பார்த்து, மேற்பார்வையாளர்களால் அவர்கள் இடுகிற கூக்குரலைக் கேட்டேன், அவர்கள் படுகிற வேதனைகளையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.

அப்போது கர்த்தர், “எகிப்தில் என் ஜனங்கள் படுகின்ற தொல்லைகளை நான் கண்டேன். எகிப்தியர்கள் அவர்களைத் துன்புறுத்தும்போது, அவர்களிடும் கூக் குரலை நான் கேட்டேன். அவர்கள் படும் வேதனையை நான் அறிவேன்.

அப்போது ஆண்டவர் கூறியது: எகிப்தில் என் மக்கள்படும் துன்பத்தை என் கண்களால் கண்டேன்; அடிமை வேலைவாங்கும் அதிகாரிகளை முன்னிட்டு அவர்கள் எழுப்பும் குரலையும் கேட்டேன்; ஆம், அவர்களின் துயரங்களை நான் அறிவேன்.
