ஆகையால் என் கோபம் இவர்கள்மேல் மூளவும், நான் இவர்களை அழித்துப்போடவும் நீ என்னை விட்டுவிடு; உன்னை ஒரு பெரிய ஜாதியாக்குவேன் என்றார்.

இணை வசனம்

ஆகையால், நான் அவர்களை அழித்து, அவர்கள் பேரை வானத்தின்கீழ் அற்றுப்போகப்பண்ணும்படி, நீ என்னை விட்டுவிடு; அவர்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் உன்னைப் பலத்ததும் ஜனம் பெருத்ததுமான ஜாதியாக்குவேன் என்றார்.

நான் அவர்களைக் கொள்ளை நோயினால் வாதித்து, சுதந்தரத்துக்குப் புறம்பாக்கிப்போட்டு, அவர்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் உன்னைப் பெரிதும் பலத்ததுமான ஜாதியாக்குவேன் என்றார்.

கர்த்தர் உங்களை அழிக்கும்படி உங்கள்மேல் கொண்டிருந்த கோபத்திற்கும் உக்கிரத்திற்கும் பயந்திருந்தேன்; கர்த்தர் அந்த முறையும் என் மன்றாட்டைக் கேட்டார்.

கோபம்மூண்டவராகி, உங்களைப் பட்டயத்தினால் கொலைசெய்வேன்; உங்கள் மனைவிகள் விதவைகளும், உங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுமாவார்கள்.

இந்தச் சபையாரை விட்டு விலகிப்போங்கள்; ஒரு நிமிஷத்தில் அவர்களை அதமாக்குவேன் என்றார்; அவர்கள் முகங்குப்புற விழுந்தார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது அவன்: ஆண்டவருக்குக் கோபம் வராதிருப்பதாக; நான் இன்னும் இந்த ஒருவிசைமாத்திரம் பேசுகிறேன்; பத்து நீதிமான்கள் அங்கே காணப்பட்டாலோ என்றான். அதற்கு அவர்: பத்து நீதிமான்கள் நிமித்தம் அதை அழிப்பதில்லை என்றார்.

அவர்: நான் போகட்டும், பொழுது விடிகிறது என்றார். அதற்கு அவன்: நீர் என்னை ஆசீர்வதித்தாலொழிய உம்மைப் போகவிடேன் என்றான்.

மோசே தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நோக்கி: கர்த்தாவே, தேவரீர் மகா பலத்தினாலும் வல்லமையுள்ள கையினாலும் எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணின உம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்கு விரோதமாக உம்முடைய கோபம் பற்றியெரிவதென்ன?

அவன் பாளயத்துக்குச் சமீபித்து, அந்தக் கன்றுக்குட்டியையும் நடனத்தையும் கண்டபோது, மோசே கோபம் மூண்டவனாகி, தன் கையிலே இருந்த பலகைகளை மலையின் அடியிலே எறிந்து உடைத்துப்போட்டு;

உமது கிருபையினுடைய மகத்துவத்தின்படியேயும், எகிப்தை விட்டதுமுதல் இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் இந்த ஜனங்களுக்கு மன்னித்துவந்ததின்படியேயும், இந்த ஜனங்களின் அக்கிரமத்தை மன்னித்தருளும் என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் முகங்குப்புறவிழுந்து: தேவனே, மாம்சமான யாவருடைய ஆவிகளுக்கும் தேவனே, ஒரு மனிதன் பாவம் செய்திருக்கச் சபையார் எல்லார்மேலும் கடுங்கோபங்கொள்வீரோ என்றார்கள்.

கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ இந்த ஜனத்துக்கு நன்மையுண்டாக விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணவேண்டாம்.

கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: மோசேயும் சாமுவேலும் என் முகத்துக்கு முன்பாக நின்றாலும், என் மனம் இந்த ஜனங்கள் பட்சமாய்ச் சாராது, இவர்கள் என் முகத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப்போகும்படி இவர்களைத் துரத்திவிடு,

நீங்கள் சொஸ்தமடையும்படிக்கு, உங்கள் குற்றங்களை ஒருவருக்கொருவர் அறிக்கையிட்டு, ஒருவருக்காக ஒருவர் ஜெபம்பண்ணுங்கள். நீதிமான் செய்யும் ஊக்கமான வேண்டுதல் மிகவும் பெலனுள்ளதாயிருக்கிறது.
