உமது தாசராகிய ஆபிரகாமையும் ஈசாக்கையும் இஸ்ரவேலையும் நினைத்தருளும்: உங்கள் சந்ததியை வானத்து நட்சத்திரங்களைப்போலப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, நான் சொன்ன இந்தத் தேசம் முழுவதையும் உங்கள் சந்ததியார் என்றைக்கும் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு, அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று உம்மைக்கொண்டே அவர்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுச் சொன்னீரே என்று கெஞ்சிப் பிரார்த்தித்தான்.

உமது ஊழியக்காரர்களாகிய ஆபிரகாமையும், ஈசாக்கையும், இஸ்ரவேலையும் நினைத்தருளும்: உங்களுடைய சந்ததியை வானத்து நட்சத்திரங்களைப்போலப் பெருகச்செய்து, நான் சொன்ன இந்த தேசம் முழுவதையும் உங்கள் சந்ததியார்கள் என்றைக்கும் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படி, அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று உம்மைக்கொண்டு அவர்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டுச் சொன்னீரே என்று கெஞ்சிப் பிரார்த்தனை செய்தான்.

ஆபிரகாம், ஈசாக்கு, இஸ்ரவேல் (யாக்கோபு) ஆகியோரை நினைவுகூரும். அவர்கள் உமக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்தனர். உமது பெயரால் அவர்களுக்கு வாக்குறுதி கொடுத்தீர். ‘நான் உன் ஜனங்களை வானத்தின் நட்சத்திரங்களைப் போல பெருகச் செய்வேன். நான் உன் ஜனங்களுக்கு வாக்குறுதி அளித்த தேசத்தைக் கொடுப்பேன். அத்தேசம் என்றும் அவர்களுக்குரியதாகும்’ என்று நீர் வாக்குறுதி தந்தீர்” என்றான்.

உம் அடியாராகிய ஆபிரகாமையும், ஈசாக்கையும், இஸ்ரயேலையும் நினைந்தருளும். நான் உன் வழிமரபினரை விண்மீன்கள் போல் பெருகச் செய்வேன். நான் வாக்களித்த இந்நாடு முழுவதையும் உன் வழிமரபினருக்கு அளிப்பேன்; அவர்கள் அதை எனறென்றும் உரிமைச் சொத்தாக்கிக் கொள்வர் என்று நீராகவே அவர்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டு அறிவித்துள்ளீரே” என்று வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்.
