அவர்கள் குமாரத்திகளில் உன் குமாரருக்குப் பெண்களைக் கொள்ளுவாய்; அவர்கள் குமாரத்திகள் தங்கள் தேவர்களைச் சோரமார்க்கமாய்ப் பின்பற்றுவதும் அல்லாமல், உன் குமாரரையும் தங்கள் தேவர்களைச் சோரமார்க்கமாய்ப் பின்பற்றும்படி செய்வார்கள்.

அவர்கள் மகள்களில் உன்னுடைய மகன்களுக்கு பெண்களை எடுப்பாய்; அவர்கள் மகள்கள் தங்களுடைய தெய்வங்களை விபசார மார்க்கமாகப் பின்பற்றுவதும் இல்லாமல், உன்னுடைய மகன்களையும் தங்களுடைய தெய்வங்களை விபசார மார்க்கமாகப் பின்பற்றும்படி செய்வார்கள்.

அவர்களின் மகள்களை உங்கள் மகன்களுக்காக நிச்சயம் செய்யக்கூடும். அப்பெண்கள் பொய்த் தேவர்களை சேவிக்கிறார்கள். உங்கள் மகன்களையும் அவ்வாறே பொய்த் தேவர்களை தொழுதுகொள்ள வழிநடத்தக்கூடும்.

மேலும், உன் புதல்வருக்கு அவர்களிடமிருந்து பெண்கொள்ள நேரிடலாம். அவர்கள் புதல்வியர் தங்கள் தெய்வங்கள் பின்னே வேசித்தனமாய் நடப்பர். உன் புதல்வரையும் தங்கள் தெய்வங்கள் பின்னே வேசித்தனமாய் நடக்கச் செய்வர்.⒫
