அதற்கு அவர்: என்னுடைய தயையை எல்லாம் நான் உனக்கு முன்பாகக் கடந்துபோகப்பண்ணி, கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை உனக்கு முன்பாகக் கூறுவேன்; எவன்மேல் கிருபையாயிருக்கச் சித்தமாயிருப்பேனோ, அவன்மேல் கிருபையாயிருப்பேன்; எவன்மேல் இரக்கமாயிருக்கச் சித்தமாயிருப்பேனோ அவன்மேல் இரக்கமாயிருப்பேன் என்று சொல்லி,

மோசே கூடாரத்துக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கையில், மேகஸ்தம்பம் இறங்கி, கூடாரவாசலில் நின்றது; கர்த்தர் மோசேயோடே பேசினார்.

கர்த்தர் மேகத்தில் இறங்கி, அவனோடே பேசி, அவன்மேலிருந்த ஆவியை மூப்பராகிய அந்த எழுபதுபேர்மேலும் வைத்தார் அந்த ஆவி அவர்கள்மேல் வந்து தங்கினமாத்திரத்தில் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ் சொன்னார்கள்; சொல்லி, பின்பு ஓய்ந்தார்கள்.

இப்படி அவன் பேசுகையில், ஒரு மேகம் வந்து அவர்கள்மேல் நிழலிட்டது, அவர்கள் அந்த மேகத்துக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கையில் சீஷர்கள் பயந்தார்கள்.

கர்த்தர் சீனாய்மலையின்மேல் அக்கினியில் இறங்கினபடியால், அது முழுவதும் புகைக்காடாய் இருந்தது; அந்தப் புகை சூளையின் புகையைப்போல எழும்பிற்று; மலை முழுவதும் மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது.

அப்பொழுது நான் இறங்கிவந்து அங்கே உன்னோடே பேசி, நீ ஒருவன் மாத்திரம் ஜனங்களின் பாரத்தைச் சுமக்காமல், உன்னோடேகூட அவர்களும் அதைச் சுமப்பதற்காக உன்மேல் இருக்கிற ஆவியை அவர்கள்மேலும் வைப்பேன்.

ஆகையால் கர்த்தர் நீடிய சாந்தமும் மிகுந்த கிருபையுமுள்ளவர் என்றும், அக்கிரமத்தையும் மீறுதலையும் மன்னிக்கிறவரென்றும், குற்றமுள்ளவர்களைக் குற்றமற்றவர்களாக விடாமல், பிதாக்கள் செய்த அக்கிரமத்தைப் பிள்ளைகளிடத்தில் மூன்றாம் நான்காம் தலைமுறைமட்டும் விசாரிக்கிறவர் என்றும், நீர் சொல்லியிருக்கிறபடியே,

கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை பிரசித்தம்பண்ணுவேன்; நம்முடைய தேவனுக்கு மகத்துவத்தைச் செலுத்துங்கள்.

அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியர்கள் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து புறப்படுகையில், மேகமானது கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தை நிரப்பிற்று.

கர்த்தருக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்ய ஜனங்களும் ராஜ்யங்களும் ஏகமாய்க் கூடிக்கொள்ளுகையில்,

கர்த்தரின் நாமம் பலத்த துருகம்; நீதிமான் அதற்குள் ஓடிச் சுகமாயிருப்பான்.

சோதோமின் அதிபதிகளே, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்; கொமோராவின் ஜனமே, நமது தேவனுடைய வேதத்துக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்.
