ஆரோனின் குமாரனாகிய எலெயாசார் பூத்தியேலுடைய குமாரத்திகளில் ஒருத்தியை விவாகம்பண்ணினான், அவள் அவனுக்குப் பினெகாசைப் பெற்றாள்; அவரவர் வம்சங்களின்படி லேவியருடைய பிதாக்களாகிய தலைவர் இவர்களே.

ஆரோனின் மகன் எலயாசர், பூற்றியேல் என்பவனின் புதல்வியருள் ஒருத்தியைத் தனக்கு மனைவியாகக் கொண்டான். அவனுக்கு அவள் பினகாசு என்பவனைப் பெற்றெடுத்தாள். தம் குடும்ப வரிசைக்கேற்ப லேவியரின் மூதாதையருள் தலைவர்கள் இவர்களே.⒫
