யாத்திராகமம் 6:9
இந்தப் பிரகாரமாக மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொன்னான்; அவர்களோ மனமடிவினாலும் கொடுமையான வேலையினாலும் மோசேக்குச் செவிகொடாமற் போனார்கள்.

இப்படியாக மோசே இஸ்ரவேலர்களுக்குச் சொன்னான்; அவர்களோ மனவருத்தத்தாலும் கொடுமையான வேலையாலும் மோசேயின் வார்த்தைகளை கேட்காமற்போனார்கள்.

மோசே இதனை இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களுக்குக் கூறினான். ஆனால் ஜனங்கள் அதற்குச் செவிசாய்க்கவிலை. அவர்கள் மிகக் கடினமாக உழைத்ததால் மோசேயிடம் பொறுமையிழந்து காணப்பட்டார்கள்.
