மோசே பார்வோனை விட்டுப் பட்டணத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, தன் கைகளைக் கர்த்தருக்கு நேராக விரித்தான்; அப்பொழுது இடிமுழக்கமும் கல்மழையும் நின்றது; மழையும் பூமியில் பெய்யாமலிருந்தது.

மோசே பார்வோனைவிட்டுப் பட்டணத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, தன்னுடைய கைகளைக் கர்த்தருக்கு நேராக விரித்தான்; அப்பொழுது இடிமுழக்கமும் கல்மழையும் நின்றது; மழையும் பூமியில் பெய்யாமல் இருந்தது.

மோசே பார்வோனிடமிருந்து புறப்பட்டு நகரத்திற்கு வெளியேபோய் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி ஜெபம் செய்ய கரங்களை உயர்த்தினான். உடனே கல்மழையும், புயலும், இடியும்கூட நின்றுபோனது.

மோசே பார்வோனை விட்டகன்று நகருக்கு வெளியே வந்தார். தம் கைகளை ஆண்டவர்பால் நீட்டினார். உடனே இடிமுழக்கங்களும் கல்மழையும் ஓய்ந்தன. நாட்டில் மழை பெய்வதும் நின்றது.
