மழைபெய்யும் நாளில் மேகத்தில் வானவில் எப்படிக் காணப்படுகிறதோ, அப்படியே சுற்றிலுமுள்ள அந்தப் பிரகாசம் காணப்பட்டது; இதுவே கர்த்தருடைய மகிமையின் சாயலுக்குரிய தரிசனமாயிருந்தது; அதை நான் கண்டபோது முகங்குப்புற விழுந்தேன்; அப்பொழுது பேசுகிற ஒருவருடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டேன்.

அவரைச் சுற்றிலும் மின்னிக்கொண்டிருந்த வெளிச்சமானது வானவில்லைப் போன்றிருந்தது. அது கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை. அதைப் பார்த்த உடனே நான் தரையிலே விழுந்தேன். என் முகம் தரையிலே படும்படிக் குனிந்தேன். பின்னர் ஒரு குரல் என்னோடு பேசுவதைக் கேட்டேன்.

சூழ்ந்திருந்த ஒளியும் கார்கால மேகத்தினிடையே காணப்படும் வானவில் போன்று தோன்றியது. இது ஆண்டவரது மாட்சிமிகு சாயலின் காட்சி.⒯இதை நான் பார்த்ததும் முகம் குப்புற விழுந்தேன்; அப்போது ஒருவர் பேசும் குரல் கேட்டேன்.
