இதோ, வடக்கேயிருந்து புசல்காற்றும் பெரிய மேகமும், அத்தோடே கலந்த அக்கினியும் வரக்கண்டேன்; அதைச் சுற்றிலும் பிரகாசமும், அதின் நடுவில் அக்கினிக்குள்ளிருந்து விளங்கிய சொகுசாவின் நிறமும் உண்டாயிருந்தது.

இதோ, வடக்கேயிருந்து புயல்காற்றும் பெரிய மேகமும், அதோடு கலந்த நெருப்பும் வரக்கண்டேன்; அதைச் சுற்றிலும் பிரகாசமும், அதின் நடுவில் நெருப்புக்குள்ளிருந்து வெளிப்பட்ட உருகிப்பிரகாசிக்கிற உலோகத்தின் நிறமும் உண்டாயிருந்தது.

நான் (எசேக்கியேல்) வடக்கிலிருந்து பெரிய புயல் வருவதைப் பார்த்தேன். அது பெரும் மேகமாய் பலமான காற்றையுடையதாய் இருந்தது. அதிலிருந்து நெருப்பு பளிச்சிட்டது. அதைச் சுற்றிலும் வெளிச்சமும் இருந்தது. இது நெருப்புக்குள்ளே பழுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் உலோகம் போல் இருந்தது.

நான் உற்றுப்பார்க்கையில், வடக்கிலிருந்து புயற்காற்று விரைந்து வந்தது. மின்னலடிக்கும் பெருமேகத்தையும் அதனைச் சுற்றிச் சுடர்வீசும் தீப்பிழம்பையும், அத்தீம்பிழம்பினுள் மின்னும் வெண்கலம் போன்ற ஒன்றையும் கண்டேன்.
