இணை வசனம்

கேருபீன்மேல் ஏறி வேகமாய்ச் சென்றார்; காற்றின் செட்டைகளைக்கொண்டு பறந்தார்.

அவர் மனுஷனைத் துரத்திவிட்டு, ஜீவவிருட்சத்துக்குப் போம் வழியைக் காவல்செய்ய ஏதேன் தோட்டத்துக்குக் கிழக்கே கேரூபீன்களையும், வீசிக்கொண்டிருக்கிற சுடரொளிப் பட்டயத்தையும் வைத்தார்.

அவர்கள் பேசிக்கொண்டு நடந்துபோகையில், இதோ, அக்கினிரதமும் அக்கினிக் குதிரைகளும் அவர்கள் நடுவாக வந்து இருவரையும் பிரித்தது; எலியா சுழல்காற்றிலே பரலோகத்திற்கு ஏறிப்போனான்.

தேவனுடைய இரதங்கள் பதினாயிரங்களும், ஆயிரமாயிரங்களுமாயிருக்கிறது, ஆண்டவர் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலமான சீனாயிலிருந்தவண்னாமாய் அவைகளுக்குள் இருக்கிறார்.

தாம் மனுஷருக்குள்ளே போட்ட கூடாரமாகிய சீலோவிலுள்ள வாசஸ்தலத்தை விட்டுவிலகி,

எருசலேமே, என் ஆத்துமா உன்னைவிட்டுப் பிரியாதபடிக்கும், நான் உன்னைப்பாழும் குடியற்ற தேசமும் ஆக்காதபடிக்கும் புத்திகேள்.

நான் முந்தி என் நாமம் விளங்கப்பண்ணின சீலோவிலுள்ள என் ஸ்தலத்துக்கு நீங்கள் போய், இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனத்தினுடைய பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தம் நான் அதற்குச் செய்ததைப் பாருங்கள்.

அவருடைய சிங்காரத்தின் மகிமையை அகந்தைக்கென்று வைத்து, அதிலே அருவருக்கப்படத்தக்கதும் சீயென்றிகழப்படத்தக்கதுமான காரியங்களின் விக்கிரகங்களை உண்டு பண்ணினார்கள்; ஆகையால் நான் அவைகளை அவர்களுக்கு வேண்டாவெறுப்பாக்கி,

அந்தப் புருஷன் உள்ளே பிரவேசிக்கையில், கேருபீன்கள் ஆலயத்தின் வலது புறத்தில் நின்றன; ஒரு மேகம் உட்பிராகாரத்தை நிரப்பிற்று.

அவர்கள் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளை வளர்த்தாலும், அவர்களுக்கு மனுஷர் இராதபடிக்கு அவர்களைப் பிள்ளைகள் அற்றவர்களாக்குவேன்; நான் அவர்களை விட்டுப்போகையில் அவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ!

எருசலேமே, எருசலேமே, தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக் கொலைசெய்து, உன்னிடத்தில் அனுப்பப்பட்டவர்களைக் கல்லெறிகிறவளே! கோழி தன் குஞ்சுகளைத் தன் சிறகுகளின்கீழே கூட்டிச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளும்வண்ணமாக நான் எத்தனைதரமோ உன் பிள்ளைகளைக் கூட்டிச்சேர்த்துக்கொள்ள மனதாயிருந்தேன்; உங்களுக்கோ மனதில்லாமற்போயிற்று.
