இணை வசனம்

ஆதலால், சீயென்றிகழப்படத்தக்கதும் அருவருக்கப்படத்தக்கதுமான உன் கிரியைகளால் நீ என் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தினபடியால் என் கண் உன்னைத் தப்பவிடாது, நான் உன்னைக் குறுகிப்போகப்பண்ணுவேன், நான் இரங்கமாட்டேன், இதை என் ஜீவனைக் கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார்.

அவர்கள் இனித் தங்கள் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களினாலும் தங்கள் அருவருப்புகளினாலும் தங்களுடைய சகல மீறுதல்களினாலும் தங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்துவதுமில்லை; அவர்கள் குடியிருந்து பாவஞ்செய்த எல்லா இடங்களிலிருந்தும் நான் அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கி இரட்சித்து, அவர்களைச் சுத்தம்பண்ணுவேன்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பார்கள், நான் அவர்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன்.

அவருடைய சிங்காரத்தின் மகிமையை அகந்தைக்கென்று வைத்து, அதிலே அருவருக்கப்படத்தக்கதும் சீயென்றிகழப்படத்தக்கதுமான காரியங்களின் விக்கிரகங்களை உண்டு பண்ணினார்கள்; ஆகையால் நான் அவைகளை அவர்களுக்கு வேண்டாவெறுப்பாக்கி,

நான் என் கையை உன்னிடமாய்த் திருப்பி, உன் களிம்பு நீங்க உன்னைச் சுத்தமாய்ப் புடமிட்டு, உன் ஈயத்தையெல்லாம் நீக்குவேன்.

உன் சுரூபங்களை மூடிய வெள்ளித்தகட்டையும், உன் விக்கிரகங்களின் பொன் ஆடையாபரணத்தையும் தீட்டாக எண்ணி, அவைகளைத் தீட்டுப்பட்ட வஸ்திரம்போல எறிந்துவிட்டு, அதைச் சீ! போ என்பாய்.

முதலாவது நான் அவர்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்துக்கும், அவர்களுடைய பாவத்துக்கும் இரட்டிப்பாய் நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டுவேன்; அவர்கள் என் தேசத்தைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தி, என் சுதந்தரத்தைத் சீயென்று அருவருக்கப்படத்தக்க தங்கள் காரியங்களின் நாற்றமான விக்கிரகங்களினாலே நிரப்பினார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

ஆனாலும் சீயென்றிகழப்படத்தக்கதும் அருவருக்கப்படத்தக்கதுமான தங்கள் இருதயத்தின் இச்சையிலே எவர்கள் நடக்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுடைய வழியின் பலனை அவர்கள் தலைகளின்மேல் சுமரப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

புறம்பே அறைவீடுகளுக்கு எதிரே வெளிப்பிராகாரத் திசையில் அறை வீடுகளுக்கு முன்பாக இருந்த மதிலின் நீளம் ஐம்பது முழம்.

இனி எனக்கும் விக்கிரகங்களுக்கும் என்ன என்று எப்பிராயீம் சொல்லுவான்; நான் அவனுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவனால் நோக்கமாயிருந்தேன்; நான் பச்சையான தேவதாரு விருட்சம்போலிருக்கிறேன்; என்னாலே உன் கனியுண்டாயிற்று என்று எப்பிராயீம் சொல்லுவான்.

அந்நாளிலே நான் உன் குதிரைகளை உன் நடுவில் இராதபடிக்குச் சங்கரித்து, உன் இரதங்களை அழித்து,

ஆகையால், விபசாரம், அசுத்தம், மோகம், துர்இச்சை, விக்கிரகாராதனையான பொருளாசை ஆகிய இவைகளைப் பூமியில் உண்டுபண்ணுகிற உங்கள் அவயவங்களை அழித்துப்போடுங்கள்.

நாம் அவபக்தியையும் லெளகிக இச்சைகளையும் வெறுத்து, தெளிந்தபுத்தியும் நீதியும் தேவபக்தியும் உள்ளவர்களாய் இவ்வுலகத்திலே ஜீவனம்பண்ணி,
