அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய ஆவி என்மேல் இறங்கினார்; அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால், இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே, நீங்கள் இப்படிப் பேசுகிறது உண்டு; உங்கள் மனதில் எழும்புகிறதை நான் அறிவேன்.

பிறகு கர்த்தருடைய ஆவி என்மேல் வந்தார். அவர் என்னிடம் சொன்னார்: “கர்த்தர் இவற்றைச் சொன்னார் என்று அவர்களிடம் கூறு: இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பமே, நீ பெரியவற்றைத் திட்டமிட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறாய். ஆனால் நீ என்ன நினைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறாய் என்பதை நான் அறிவேன்!

அப்போது ஆண்டவரது ஆவி என்மீது இறங்கியது. ஆண்டவர் என்னிடம் கூறுவது; “நீ சொல்; ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே; இஸ்ரயேல் வீட்டாரே, நீங்கள் இவ்வாறெல்லாம் எண்ணுகிறீர்கள். உங்கள் உள்ளத்தில் உள்ளதை நான் அறிவேன்.
