எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே நான் செய்தேன்; சிறைப்பட்டுப்போகும்போது சாமான்களைக் கொண்டுபோவதுபோல என் சாமான்களைப் பகற்காலத்தில் வெளியே வைத்தேன்; சாயங்காலத்திலோ கையினால் சுவரிலே துவாரமிட்டு, மாலை மயங்கும் வேளையிலே அவைகளை வெளியே கொண்டுபோய், அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவைகளைத் தோளின்மேல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோனேன்.

எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே நான் செய்தேன்; சிறைப்பட்டுப்போகும்போது சாமான்களைக் கொண்டுபோவதுபோல என்னுடைய சாமான்களைப் பகற்காலத்தில் வெளியே வைத்தேன்; மாலையிலோ கையினால் சுவரிலே துவாரமிட்டு, மாலை நேரத்தில் அவைகளை வெளியே கொண்டுபோய், அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவைகளைத் தோளின்மேல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோனேன்.

எனவே நான் (எசேக்கியேல்) கட்டளையிடப்பட்டபடி செய்தேன். பகல் பொழுதில், எனது பைகளை எடுத்துகொண்டு தூரநாடுகளுக்குப் போவதுபோன்று புறப்பட்டேன். அன்று மாலையில் நான் என் கையால் சுவரில் துவாரமிட்டேன். இரவில் நான் என் தோளில் பைகளைப் போட்டுக்கொண்டு விலகினேன். நான் இதனைச் செய்தேன். எனவே ஜனங்களால் என்னைப் பார்க்கமுடிந்தது.

எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே நான் செய்தேன். நாடுகடத்தப்படுகையில் கொண்டு போவதுபோல என் பொருள்களைப் பகல் வேளையில் வெளிக் கொணர்ந்தேன். மாலையில் என் கைகளால் சுவரில் துளையிட்டேன். இருள் சூழ்ந்ததும் அவற்றைத் தோளில் தூக்கிக்கொண்டு அவர்கள் கண்முன்னே வெளியேறினேன்.

And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I digged through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.
