துன்மார்க்கன் தான் செய்த எல்லாப் பாவங்களையும் விட்டுத் திரும்பி, என் கட்டளைகளையெல்லாம் கைக்கொண்டு, நியாயத்தையும் நீதியையும் செய்வானேயாகில், அவன் பிழைக்கவே பிழைப்பான், அவன் சாவதில்லை.

துன்மார்க்கன் தான் செய்த எல்லாப் பாவங்களையும் விட்டுத் திரும்பி, என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளையெல்லாம் கைக்கொண்டு, நியாயத்தையும் நீதியையும் செய்தால், அவன் பிழைக்கவே பிழைப்பான், அவன் மரிப்பதில்லை.

“இப்பொழுது, தீயவன் தனது வாழ்க்கை முறையை மாற்றினால் பிறகு அவன் மரிக்கமாட்டான் வாழ்வான். அவன் தான் செய்த பாவங்களை நிறுத்திவிடலாம் அவன் எனது சட்டங்களுக்கு கவனமாகக் கீழ்ப்படியலாம். அவன் நல்லவனாகவும் நியாயமானவனாகவும் ஆகலாம்.

தீயவரோ தாம் செய்த பாவங்கள் அனைத்தையும் விட்டு மனம் மாறி, என் நியமங்கள் அனைத்தையும் கைக்கொண்டு, நீதியையும் நேர்மையையும் கடைப்பிடித்தால் அவர்கள் வாழ்வது உறுதி, அவர்கள் சாகார்.

But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
