அவர் அதை எனக்குமுன்பாக விரித்தார்; அதில் உள்ளும் புறம்பும் எழுதப்பட்டிருந்தது; அதிலே புலம்பல்களும், தவிப்பும், ஐயோ என்பதும் எழுதியிருந்தது.

நான் அச்சுருளைத் திறந்து முன்னும் பின்னும், எழுதப்பட்டிருப்பதைப் பார்தேன். அனைத்தும் துக்கப் பாடல்களாகவும் துக்கக் கதைகளாகவும் எச்சரிக்கைகளாகவும் இருந்தன.

அவர் அச்சுருளேட்டை என்முன் விரித்தார். உள்ளும் புறமும் எழுதப்பட்டிருந்த அதில் கதறல்களும் புலம்பல்களும், கேடுகளும் எழுதப்பட்டிருந்தன.
