ஆகையால் நன்மைக்கேதுவல்லாத கட்டளைகளையும் ஜீவனுக்கேதுவல்லாத நியாயங்களையும் நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்.

இணை வசனம்

ஆகையால் அவர்களை அவர்கள் இருதயத்தின் கடினத்திற்கு விட்டுவிட்டேன்; தங்கள் யோசனைகளின்படி நடந்தார்கள்.

நான் கூப்பிட்டும் மறுஉத்தரவுகொடுக்கிறவனில்லாமலும், நான் பேசியும் அவர்கள் கேளாமலும், அவர்கள் என் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, நான் விரும்பாததைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டதினிமித்தம், நானும் அவர்களுடைய ஆபத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, அவர்களுடைய திகில்களை அவர்கள்மேல் வரப்பண்ணுவேன்.

இப்போதும் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே, நீங்கள் என் சொல்லைக் கேட்கமனதில்லாதிருந்தால், நீங்கள் போய் அவனவன் தன் தன் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களை இன்னும் சேவியுங்கள்; ஆனாலும் என் பரிசுத்த நாமத்தை உங்கள் காணிக்கைகளாலும் உங்கள் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களாலும் இனிப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்காதிருங்கள் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

கர்த்தர் உங்களைப் புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே சிதற அடிப்பார்; கர்த்தர் உங்களைக் கொண்டுபோய் விடப்போகிற ஜாதிகளிடத்திலே கொஞ்ச ஜனங்களாய் மீந்திருப்பீர்கள்.

கர்த்தர் உன்னையும், உனக்காக நீ ஏற்படுத்திக்கொண்ட ராஜாவையும், நீயும் உன் பிதாக்களும் அறியாத ஜாதிகளிடத்துக்குப் போகப்பண்ணுவார்; அங்கே நீ மரமும் கல்லுமான அந்நிய தேவர்களைச் சேவிப்பாய்.

ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி எத்தப்பட்டு ஒரு விசேஷத்தைச் சொன்னானாகில், அப்படிக்கொத்த தீர்க்கதரிசியைக் கர்த்தராகிய நானே எத்தப்படப்பண்ணினேன்; நான் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக என் கையை நீட்டி, அவனை இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனத்தின் நடுவில் இராதபடிக்கு அழிப்பேன்.

நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அவர்கள் அறியத்தக்கதாக, நான் அவர்களைப் பாழாக்கும்படி, அவர்கள் கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கிறதையெல்லாம் தீக்கடக்கப்பண்ணி, இவ்விதமாய் அவர்களுடைய பலிகளினாலே அவர்களைத் தீட்டுப்படப்பண்ணினேன்.

அவர்கள் தேவனை அறிந்தும், அவரைத் தேவனென்று மகிமைப்படுத்தாமலும், ஸ்தோத்திரியாமலுமிருந்து, தங்கள் சிந்தனைகளினாலே வீணரானார்கள், உணர்வில்லாத அவர்களுடைய இருதயம் இருளடைந்தது.

அந்த அக்கிரமக்காரனுடைய வருகை சாத்தானுடைய செயலின்படி சகல வல்லமையோடும் அடையாளங்களோடும் பொய்யான அற்புதங்களோடும்,
