இணை வசனம்

நீ பழைய பகையை வைத்து இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய அக்கிரமம் நிறைவேறுகையில் அவர்களுக்கு உண்டான ஆபத்தின் காலத்திலே பட்டயத்தின் கூர்மையினால் அவர்களுடைய இரத்தத்தைச் சிந்தினபடியால்,

தேவன்மேல் தன்னை ஆணையிடுவித்துக்கொண்ட நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் என்னும் ராஜாவுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கலகம்பண்ணி, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்துக்குத் திரும்பாதபடிக்கு, தன் கழுத்தை அழுத்தமாக்கி, தன் இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தினான்.

யோயாக்கீம் செய்தபடியெல்லாம் அவனும் கர்த்தருடைய பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்.

அதினிமித்தம் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: அவன் என் ஆசையை அசட்டைபண்ணினதையும், என் உடன்படிக்கையை முறித்துப்போட்டதையும், நான் அவனுடைய தலையின்மேல் வரப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன்.

அக்கிரமத்துக்கு முடிவுவருங்காலத்தில் வந்த தங்களுடைய நாளுக்கு ஏதுவாகி, கொலையுண்டுபோனவர்களுடைய பிடரிகளோடேகூட என்னைத் துன்மார்க்கரின் கையினால் விழப்பண்ணும்படிக்கு, உனக்கு அபத்தமானது தரிசிக்கப்படுகிறபோதும், உனக்குப் பொய்நிமித்தம் பார்க்கப்படுகிறபோதும் பட்டயம் உருவப்பட்டது, பட்டயமே உருவப்பட்டது; வெட்டவும் சங்கரிக்கவும் அது மின்னத்தக்கதாய்த் துலக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

துன்மார்க்கனுடைய பொல்லாங்கை ஒழியப்பண்ணும்; நீதிமானை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவீராக; நீதியுள்ளவராயிருக்கிற தேவரீர் இருதயங்களையும் உள்ளிந்திரியங்களையும் சோதித்தறிகிறவர்.

ஜாதிகளைக் கடிந்துகொண்டு துன்மார்க்கரை அழித்து, அவர்கள் நாமத்தை என்றென்றைக்கும் இல்லாதபடி குலைத்துப்போட்டீர்.

புசிக்கத்தகாத கெட்ட அத்திப்பழங்களைத் தள்ளிவிடுவதுபோல, நான் சிதேக்கியா என்கிற யூதாவின் ராஜாவையும் அவனுடைய பிரபுக்களையும், இந்தத் தேசத்திலே மீதியான எருசலேமின் குடிகளையும், எகிப்து தேசத்தில் குடியிருக்கிறவர்களையும் தள்ளிவிட்டு,

திரளான தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் வாசம்பண்ணுகிறவளே, திரண்ட சம்பத்துடையவளே, உனக்கு முடிவும் உன் பொருளாசைக்கு ஒழிவும் வந்தது.

முடிவு வருகிறது, முடிவு வருகிறது, அது உன்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது; இதோ, வருகிறது.

நாள் சமீபமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆம், கர்த்தருடைய நாள் சமீபமாயிருக்கிறது; அது மந்தாரமான நாள், அது புறஜாதிகளுக்கு வரும் காலம்.
