உன் வீடுகளை அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரித்து, அநேக ஸ்திரீகளின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக உன்னில் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளைச் செய்வார்கள்; உன் வேசித்தனத்தை ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்; நீ இனிப் பணையங்கொடுப்பதில்லை.

இவ்விதமாய் உன் முறைகேட்டையும், நீ எகிப்துதேசத்தில் துவக்கின் உன் வேசித்தனத்தையும் ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்; நீ இனி அவர்களை நோக்க உன் கண்களை ஏறெடுக்காமலும், எகிப்துவை நினையாமலும் இருப்பாய்.

அக்கிரமக்காரருக்குள் வாசமாயிருக்கையில் அவர்களுடைய காமவிகார நடக்கையால் வருத்தப்பட்டு;

இஸ்ரவேலர் யாவரும் அதைக் கேட்டுப் பயந்து, இனி உன் நடுவே இப்படிப்பட்ட தீமையான காரியத்தைச் செய்யாதிருப்பார்கள்.

என் ஆத்துமா இரவிலே உம்மை வாஞ்சிக்கிறது; எனக்குள் இருக்கிற என் ஆவியால் அதிகாலையிலும் உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்; உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் பூமியிலே நடக்கும்போது பூச்சக்கரத்துக்குடிகள் நீதியைக் கற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள்.

நான் கோபத்தாலும் உக்கிரத்தாலும் கொடிய தண்டனைகளாலும், உன்னில் நீதிசெலுத்தும்போது, உன் சுற்றுப்புறத்தாராகிய ஜாதிகளுக்கு அது நிந்தையும் துர்க்கீர்த்தியும் எச்சரிப்பும் பிரமிப்புமாய் இருக்கும்; கர்த்தராகிய நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன்.

உங்கள் பலிபீடங்கள் நிர்மூலமும் பாழுமாகும்படிக்கும், உங்கள் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்கள் தகர்க்கப்பட்டு, ஓய்ந்து, உங்கள் சிலைகள் வெட்டுண்டு, உங்கள் கிரியைகள் குலைந்துபோகும்படிக்கும், உங்களுடைய சகல வாசஸ்தலங்களிலுமுள்ள பட்டணங்கள் நிர்மூலமும் உங்கள் மேடைகள் பாழுமாகும்.

நான் உன்னைப் புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே சிதறடித்து, உன்னை தேசங்களிலே தூற்றி, உன் அசுத்தத்தை உன்னில் ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்.

அப்பொழுது நான் உங்கள்மேல் சுத்தமான ஜலம் தெளிப்பேன்; நான் உங்களுடைய எல்லா அசுத்தங்களையும் உங்களுடைய எல்லா நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களையும் நீக்கி உங்களைச் சுத்தமாக்குவேன், நீங்கள் சுத்தமாவீர்கள்.

உன் தேசத்துப் பட்டணங்களைச் சங்கரித்து, உன் அரண்களையெல்லாம் நிர்மூலமாக்கி,

மனுஷரையும் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் வாரிக்கொள்ளுவேன்; நான் ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளையும், சமுத்திரத்து மச்சங்களையும் இடறுகிறதற்கேதுவானவைகளையும் துன்மார்க்கரோடேகூட வாரிக்கொண்டு தேசத்தில் உண்டான மனுஷரைச் சங்காரம்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

அவர்கள் இச்சித்ததுபோல நாமும் பொல்லாங்கானவைகளை இச்சியாதபடிக்கு, இவைகள் நமக்குத் திருஷ்டாந்தங்களாயிருக்கிறது.
