இணை வசனம்

திரளான தண்ணீர்களின் கரைகளில் நடமாடுகிற அதின் மிருகஜீவன்களையெல்லாம் அழிப்பேன்; இனி மனுஷனுடைய கால் அவைகளைக் கலக்குவதுமில்லை, மிருகங்களுடைய குளம்புகள் அவைகளைக் குழப்புவதுமில்லை.

அவன் வந்து, எகிப்துதேசத்தை அழிப்பான்; சாவுக்கு ஏதுவானவன் சாவுக்கும், சிறையிருப்புக்கு ஏதுவானவன் சிறையிருப்புக்கும், பட்டயத்துக்கு ஏதுவானவன் பட்டயத்துக்கும் உள்ளாவான்.

கர்த்தர் எரேமியாவின் வாயினாலே சொன்ன வார்த்தை நிறைவேறும்படிக்கு, தேசம் தன்னுடைய ஓய்வு வருஷங்களை இரம்மியமாய் அநுபவித்துத் தீருமட்டும், அது பாழாய்க்கிடந்த நாளெல்லாம், அதாவது, எழுபதுவருஷம் முடியுமட்டும் ஓய்ந்திருந்தது.

அக்காலத்திலே தீரு, ஒரு ராஜாவுடைய நாட்களின்படி, எழுபது வருஷம் மறக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்; எழுபது வருஷங்களின் முடிவிலே தீருவுக்குச் சம்பவிப்பது வேசியின் பாடலுக்குச் சமானமாயிருக்கும்.

எழுபது வருஷங்களின் முடிவிலே கர்த்தர் வந்து தீருவைச் சந்திப்பார்; அப்பொழுது அது தன் பணையத்துக்கு திரும்பிவந்து, பூமியிலுள்ள சகல ராஜ்யங்களோடும் வேசித்தனம் பண்ணும்.

இந்தத் தேசமெல்லாம் வனாந்தரமும் பாழுமாகும்; இந்த ஜாதிகளோ, எழுபது வருஷமாகப் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவைச் சேவிப்பார்கள்.

பாபிலோனிலே எழுபதுவருஷம் நிறைவேறினபின்பு நான் உங்களைச் சந்தித்து, உங்களை இவ்விடத்துக்குத் திரும்பிவரப்பண்ணும்படிக்கு உங்கள்மேல் என் நல்வார்த்தையை நிறைவேறப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரைக்கொண்டு எகிப்தின் சந்ததியை ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்.

ஜாதிகளில் வல்லவராகிய அந்நியதேசத்தார் அதை வெட்டிப்போட்டு, விட்டுப்போனார்கள்; அதின் கொப்புகள் மலைகளின்மேலும் சகல பள்ளத்தாக்குகளிலும் விழுந்தன; அதின் கிளைகள் தேசத்தினுடைய எல்லா ஆள்களினருகே முறிந்தன; பூமியிலுள்ள ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் அதின் நிழலைவிட்டுக் கலைந்துபோனார்கள்.

நான் தேசத்தைப் பாழும் அவாந்தரமுமாக்குவேன்; அப்பொழுது அதினுடைய பெலத்தின் பெருமை ஒழிந்துபோகும்; அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலின் மலைகள் கடந்துபோவாரில்லாமல் அவாந்தரமாய்க் கிடக்கும்.

உங்கள் பிதாக்களுக்கு நான் கொடுத்த தேசத்திலே நீங்கள் குடியிருப்பீர்கள்; நீங்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பீர்கள், நான் உங்கள் தேவனாயிருந்து,

தானியேலாகிய நான் எருசலேமின் பாழ்க்கடிப்புகள் நிறைவேறித்தீர எழுபதுவருஷம் செல்லுமென்று கர்த்தர் எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசியோடே சொல்லிய வருஷங்களின் தொகையைப் புஸ்தகங்களால் அறிந்துகொண்டேன்.
