எகிப்துதேசத்தைப் பாழாய்ப்போன தேசங்களின் நடுவிலே பாழாய்ப்போகப்பண்ணுவேன்; அதின் பட்டணங்கள் அவாந்தரமாக்கப்பட்ட பட்டணங்களின் நடுவிலே நாற்பதுவருஷம் பாழாய்க்கிடக்கும்; நான் எகிப்தியரை ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே சிதறடித்து, அவர்களை தேசங்களுக்குள்ளே தூற்றிவிடுவேன்.

எகிப்துதேசத்தைப் பாழாய்ப்போன தேசங்களின் நடுவிலே பாழாய்ப்போகச்செய்வேன்; அதின் பட்டணங்கள் வெறுமையாக்கப்பட்ட பட்டணங்களின் நடுவிலே நாற்பதுவருடங்கள் பாழாய்க்கிடக்கும்; நான் எகிப்தியர்களைத் தேசங்களுக்குள்ளே சிதறடித்து, அவர்களைத் தேசங்களுக்குள்ளே தூற்றிவிடுவேன்.

நான் எகிப்தை அழிப்பேன். நகரங்கள் 40 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு அழிந்த நிலையிலேயே இருக்கும். நான் எகிப்தியர்களைப் பல நாடுகளில் சிதறடிப்பேன். நான் அவர்களை அயல்நாடுகளில் அந்நியர்களாக்குவேன்.”

அழிந்த நாடுகளில் ஒன்றாக எகிப்து நாட்டை மாற்றுவேன். நாற்பது ஆண்டுகள் அதன் நகர்கள், அழிந்த நகர்களிடையே பாழடைந்து கிடக்கும். எகிப்தியரை மக்களினங்களிடையே சிதறடித்து, நாடுகளிடையே கலந்தொழியச் செய்வேன்.
