எசேக்கியேல் 3:11
நீ போய், சிறைப்பட்ட உன் ஜனத்தின் புத்திரரிடத்திலே சேர்ந்து, அவர்கள் கேட்டாலும் கேளாவிட்டாலும் அவர்களோடே பேசி, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் இன்னின்னதை உரைக்கிறார் என்று அவர்களோடே சொல் என்றார்.

நீ போய், சிறைப்பட்ட உன்னுடைய மக்களிடத்திலே சேர்ந்து, அவர்கள் கேட்டாலும் கேட்காவிட்டாலும் அவர்களுடன் பேசி, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் இன்னின்னதை சொல்கிறார் என்று அவர்களுடன் சொல் என்றார்.

பிறகு, நீ நாடு கடத்தப்பட்ட உனது ஜனங்களிடம் சென்று, ‘நமது கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் இவற்றைச் சொல்கிறார்’ என்று சொல்லவேண்டும். அவர்கள் நீ சொல்வதைக் கேட்கமாட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் பாவம் செய்வதை நிறுத்தமாட்டார்கள். ஆனால், நீ அவர்களிடம் இவற்றைச் சொல்லவேண்டும்” என்றார்.

நீ புறப்பட்டு நாடு கடத்தப்பட்டிருக்கும் உன் மக்களின் பிள்ளைகளிடம் போ; அவர்கள் செவி சாய்த்தாலும் சாய்க்காவிட்டாலும் அவர்களுடன் பேசி, ‘தலைவராகிய ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே’ என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்” என்றார்.
