எகிப்தின் நுகங்களை நான் முறிக்கும்போதும், அதினுடைய பெலத்தின் முக்கியம் அதிலே ஓயும்போதும், மந்தாரம் அதை மூடும்; தக்பானேசிலே பகல் இருண்டுபோகும்; அதின் குமாரத்திகள் சிறைப்பட்டுப்போவார்கள்.

நான் எகிப்தின் நுகங்களை முறிக்கும்போது தக்பானேசிலே பகல் இருண்டு போகும். எகிப்தின் பெருமையான பலம் முடிந்துபோகும்! எகிப்தை ஒரு மேகம் மூடும். அவளது மகள்கள் சிறைபிடிக்கப்பட்டு கொண்டுசெல்லப்படுவார்கள்.

At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
