மனுபுத்திரனே, எகிப்தின் ராஜாவாகிய பார்வோனுடைய புயத்தை முறித்துப்போடுவேன்; இதோ, அது குணமாக்கத்தக்கதாகக் கட்டப்படுவதில்லை; அது பட்டயத்தைப் பிடிக்கத்தக்க பெலனை அடையும்படி பத்தைவைத்துக் கட்டப்படுவதுமில்லை.

மனிதகுமாரனே, எகிப்தின் ராஜாவாகிய பார்வோனுடைய கையை முறித்துப்போடுவேன்; இதோ, அது குணமாவதற்காகக் கட்டப்படுவதில்லை; அது வாளைப் பிடிக்கும் அளவுக்கு பெலன்பெற பத்தை வைத்துக் கட்டப்படுவதுமில்லை.

“மனுபுத்திரனே, நான் எகிப்து மன்னனான பார்வோனின் கையை (பலம்) உடைத்திருக்கிறேன். எவரும் அவனது கையில் கட்டுப் போட முடியாது. அது குணமாவதில்லை. எனவே அவனது கையானது வாளைத் தாங்கும் அளவிற்குப் பலம் பெறுவதில்லை.”

“மானிடா! எகிப்தின் மன்னன் பார்வோனின் கையை நான் முறித்து விட்டேன். ஆயினும், அது குணமாகும்படி கட்டுப்போடப்படவில்லை; வாளேந்தும் அளவுக்கு வலிமை பெறும்படி துணிகளால் சுற்றப்படவுமில்லை.

Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
