எசேக்கியேல் 31:17
அவனோடேகூட இவர்களும் ஜாதிகளின் நடுவே அவன் நிழலில் குடியிருந்து அவனுக்குப் புயபலமாயிருந்தவர்களும், பட்டயத்தால் வெட்டுண்டவர்களண்டையிலே பாதாளத்தில் இறங்கினார்கள்.

அவனுடன் இவர்களும், தேசங்களின் நடுவே அவன் நிழலில் குடியிருந்து அவனுக்குப் பக்கபலமாக இருந்தவர்களும், வாளால் வெட்டுப்பட்டவர்கள் அருகிலே பாதாளத்தில் இறங்கினார்கள்.

ஆம், அம்மரங்கள் கூட, பெரிய மரத்தோடு மரண இடத்திற்குச் சென்றன. போரில் கொல்லப்பட்டவர்களோடு அவை சேர்ந்தன. அந்தப் பெரிய மரம் மற்ற மரங்களைப் பலமடையச் செய்தது. அம்மரங்கள் அப்பெரிய மரத்தின் நிழலில் நாடுகளுக்கிடையில் வாழ்ந்தன.

அதன் நிழலில் வாழ்ந்த கூட்டுநாடுகள் அதனோடு சேர்ந்து வாளால் மடிந்தவர்களுடன் பாதாளத்தில் போய்ச்சேரும்.
