அங்கே ஏலாமும் அவனுடைய பிரேதக்குழியைச் சுற்றிலும் அவனுடைய எல்லா ஏராளமான ஜனமும் கிடக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களெல்லாரும் பட்டயத்தால் வெட்டுண்டு விழுந்து, விருத்தசேதனமில்லாதவர்களாய்ப் பூமியின் தாழ்விடங்களில் இறங்கினார்கள்; ஜீவனுள்ளோருடைய தேசத்திலே கெடியுண்டாக்கின அவர்கள், குழியில் இறங்கினவர்களோடேகூடத் தங்கள் அவமானத்தைச் சுமக்கிறார்கள்.

அங்கே ஏலாமும் அவனுடைய பிரேதக்குழியைச் சுற்றிலும் அவனுடைய எல்லா ஏராளமான மக்களும் கிடக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் வாளால் வெட்டுண்டு விழுந்து, விருத்தசேதனம் இல்லாதவர்களாக பூமியின் தாழ்விடங்களில் இறங்கினார்கள்; வாழ்வோருடைய தேசத்திலே பயத்தை உண்டாக்கின அவர்கள், குழியில் இறங்கினவர்களுடன் தங்களுடைய அவமானத்தைச் சுமக்கிறார்கள்.

“ஏலாமும் இங்கே இருக்கிறது. அதன் படை அவள் கல்லறையைச் சுற்றியிருக்கிறது. அவர்கள் அனைவரும் போரில் கொல்லப்பட்டனர். அந்த அந்நியர்கள் பூமிக்குக் கீழே போய்விட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் உயிரோடு இருந்தபோது ஜனங்களை பயப்படுத்தினார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்கள் தம்மோடு அவமானத்தை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு ஆழமான குழிகளுக்குள் சென்றுவிட்டார்கள்.
