தப்பினவன் வருகிறதற்கு முந்தின சாயங்காலத்திலே கர்த்தருடைய கை என்மேல் அமர்ந்து, அவன் காலையில் என்னிடத்தில் வருமட்டும் என் வாயைத் திறந்திருக்கப்பண்ணிற்று; என் வாய் திறக்கப்பட்டது, பின்பு நான் மெளனமாயிருக்கவில்லை.

தப்பினவன் வருகிறதற்கு முந்தின மாலைவேளையிலே கர்த்தருடைய கை என்மேல் அமர்ந்து, அவன் காலையில் என்னிடத்தில் வரும்வரை என்னுடைய வாயைத் திறந்திருக்கச்செய்தது; என்னுடைய வாய் திறக்கப்பட்டது, பின்பு நான் மவுனமாக இருக்கவில்லை.

இப்பொழுது, எனது கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரின் வல்லமை, அந்த ஆள் என்னிடம் வருவதற்கு முன் மாலையில், என் மேல் வந்திருந்தது, தேவன் என்னை பேச முடியாதவாறு செய்திருந்தார். அந்த ஆள் என்னிடம் வந்தபோது, கர்த்தர் என் வாயைத் திறந்து மீண்டும் என்னைப் பேசும்படிச் செய்தார்.

தப்பியவன் வருவதற்குமுன் மாலையில் ஆண்டவரின் கை என் மேல் இருந்தது. அம்மனிதன் காலையில் என்னிடம் வருமுன் ஆண்டவர் என்னை வாய்திறக்கச் செய்தார். ஆகவே என் வாய் திறக்கப்பட்டிருக்க, நான் பேச இயலாதவனாய் இல்லை.

Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.
