துன்மார்க்கன் தன் வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பும்படி நீ அவனை எச்சரித்தும் அவன் தன் வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பாமற்போனால், அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்திலே சாவான்; நீயோ உன் ஆத்துமாவைத் தப்புவிப்பாய்.

துன்மார்க்கன் தன்னுடைய வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பும்படி நீ அவனை எச்சரித்தும், அவன் தன்னுடைய வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பாமற்போனால், அவன் தன்னுடைய அக்கிரமத்திலே மரிப்பான்; நீயோ உன்னுடைய ஆத்துமாவைத் தப்புவிப்பாய்.

ஆனால் நீ அந்தப் பாவியைத் தன் வாழ்க்கையை மாற்றிக்கொள்ளும்படியும், பாவம் செய்வதை நிறுத்தும்படியும் எச்சரிக்கை செய்தும் அவன் பாவம் செய்வதை நிறுத்த மறுத்துவிட்டால், பின் அவன் மரிப்பான். ஏனென்றால், அவன் பாவம் செய்தவன். ஆனால் நீ உன்னுடைய வாழ்க்கையைக் காப்பாற்றியிருக்கிறாய்.

ஆனால் தீயோரை அவர்கள் தம் வழியிலிருந்து திரும்ப வேண்டுமென்று நீ எச்சரித்தும் அவர்கள் தம் வழியிலிருந்து திரும்பாவிட்டால், அவர்கள் தம் குற்றத்திலேயே சாவர். நீயோ, உன் உயிரைக் காத்துக் கொள்வாய்.

Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it, and he turn not from his way; he shall die in his iniquity, but thou hast delivered thy soul.
