நான் காணாமற்போனதைத்தேடி துரத்துண்டதைத் திரும்பக்கொண்டுவந்து, எலும்பு முறிந்ததைக் காயங்கட்டி, நசல்கொண்டதைத் திடப்படுத்துவேன்; நியாயத்துக்குத் தக்கதாய் அவைகளை மேய்த்து, புஷ்டியும் பெலமுமுள்ளவைகளை அழிப்பேன்.

நான் காணாமல்போனதைத் தேடி, துரத்தப்பட்டதைத் திரும்பக் கொண்டுவந்து, எலும்பு முறிந்ததைக் காயங்கட்டி, வலிமை இல்லாததைத் திடப்படுத்துவேன்; நியாயத்திற்குத்தக்கதாக அவைகளை மேய்த்து, கொழுத்ததும் பெலமுமுள்ளவைகளை அழிப்பேன்.

“நான் காணாமல்போன ஆடுகளைத் தேடுவேன். நான் சிதறிப்போன ஆடுகளைத் திரும்பக் கொண்டுவருவேன். நான் புண்பட்ட ஆடுகளுக்குக் கட்டுப்போடுவேன். நான் பலவீனமான ஆடுகளைப் பலப்படுத்துவேன். ஆனால் நான் கொழுத்த ஆற்றலுடைய மேய்ப்பர்களை அழிப்பேன். நான் அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்ற தண்டனையைக் கொடுப்பேன்.”

காணாமல் போனதைத் தேடுவேன்; அலைந்து திரிவதைத் திரும்பக்கொண்டுவருவேன்; காயப்பட்டதற்குக் கட்டுப்போடுவேன்; நலிந்தவற்றைத் திடப்படுத்துவேன். ஆனால், கொழுத்ததையும் வலிமையுள்ளதையும் அழிப்பேன். இவ்வாறு நீதியுடன் அவற்றை மேய்ப்பேன்.

I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.
