நீ பழைய பகையை வைத்து இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய அக்கிரமம் நிறைவேறுகையில் அவர்களுக்கு உண்டான ஆபத்தின் காலத்திலே பட்டயத்தின் கூர்மையினால் அவர்களுடைய இரத்தத்தைச் சிந்தினபடியால்,

“‘ஏனென்றால், நீ எப்பொழுதும் எனது ஜனங்களுக்கு விரோதமாக இருந்தாய். நீ உனது வாளை இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு எதிராக அவர்களின் ஆபத்து காலத்தில் அவர்களின் இறுதித் தண்டனை காலத்தில் பயன்படுத்தினாய்!’”

ஏனெனில் முற்காலப் பகையை மனத்தில் கொண்டு நீ இஸ்ரயேலரை அவர்களின் துன்பகாலத்தில், அவர்களது தண்டனையின் உச்சக் கட்டத்தில் வாளுக்கு இரையாக்குமாறு கையளித்தாய்.
