ஆகையால் மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து, கோகை நோக்கிச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார்; என் ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் சுகமாய்க் குடியிருக்கிற அக்காலத்திலே நீ அதை அறிவாய் அல்லவோ?

ஆகையால் மனிதகுமாரனே, நீ தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லி, கோகை நோக்கிச் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்; கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்; என்னுடைய மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் சுகமாகக் குடியிருக்கிற அக்காலத்திலே நீ அதை அறிவாய் அல்லவோ?

தேவன் சொன்னார்: “மனுபுத்திரனே, எனக்காக கோகிடம் பேசு. கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் இவற்றைச் சொன்னார் என்று அவனிடம் சொல்: ‘என் ஜனங்கள் சமாதானமாகவும் பாதுகாப்பாகவும் வாழும்போது நீ அவர்களைத் தாக்குவதற்கு வருவாய்.

எனவே, மானிடா! நீ இறைவாக்குரைத்துக் கோகுக்குச் சொல்: தலைவராகிய ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது இதுவே: என் மக்கள் இஸ்ரயேலர் பாதுகாப்பாய் வாழும் நாளை நீ அறிவாயோ?
