இணை வசனம்

சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்: கொஞ்சக்காலத்துக்குள்ளே இன்னும் ஒருதரம் நான் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் சமுத்திரத்தையும் வெட்டாந்தரையையும் அசையப்பண்ணுவேன்.

இப்படி என் கோபம் நிறைவேறும்; இப்படி நான் என் உக்கிரத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் தங்கப்பண்ணுகிறதினால் என்னை ஆற்றிக்கொள்வேன்; நான் என் உக்கிரத்தை அவர்களில் நிறைவேற்றும்போது, கர்த்தராகிய நான் என் வைராக்கியத்திலே இதைப் பேசினேன் என்று அறிவார்கள்.

கர்த்தர் சீயோனிலிருந்து கெர்ச்சித்து, எருசலேமிலிருந்து சத்தமிடுவார்; வானமும் பூமியும் அதிரும்; ஆனாலும் கர்த்தர் தமது ஜனத்துக்கு அடைக்கலமும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு அரணான கோட்டையுமாயிருப்பார்.

சத்தங்களும் இடிமுழக்கங்களும் மின்னல்களும் உண்டாயின; பூமி மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது, பூமியின்மேல் மனுஷர்கள் உண்டான நாள்முதற்கொண்டு அப்படிப்பட்ட பெரிய அதிர்ச்சியுண்டானதில்லை.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தரின் கோபமும் எரிச்சலும் அந்த மனிதன்மேல் புகையும்; இந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிற சாபங்களெல்லாம் அவன்மேல் தங்கும்; கர்த்தர் அவன் பேரை வானத்தின்கீழ் இராதபடிக்குக் குலைத்துப்போடுவார்.

அப்பொழுது பூமி அசைந்து அதிர்ந்தது, அவர் கோபங்கொண்டபடியால் பர்வதங்களின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் குலுங்கி அசைந்தது.

கர்த்தர் பராக்கிரமசாலியைப்போல் புறப்பட்டு, யுத்தவீரனைப்போல் வைராக்கியமூண்டு, முழங்கிக் கெர்ச்சித்து, தம்முடைய சத்துருக்களை மேற்கொள்ளுவார்.

ஆதலால் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்:

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் தமது தேசத்துக்காக வைராக்கியங்கொண்டு, தமது ஜனத்தைக் கடாட்சிப்பார்.

நீ யூதாவின் தலைவனாகிய செருபாபேலோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால், நான் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் அசையப்பண்ணி,

அப்பொழுது என்னோடே பேசின தூதன் என்னை நோக்கி: சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால்: நான் எருசலேமுக்காகவும் சீயோனுக்காகவும் மகா வைராக்கியம் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்.

அவருடைய சத்தம் அப்பொழுது பூமியை அசையப்பண்ணிற்று; இன்னும் ஒருதரம் நான் பூமியை மாத்திரமல்ல, வானத்தையும் அசையப்பண்ணுவேனென்று இப்பொழுது வாக்குத்தத்தஞ்செய்திருக்கிறார்.

அந்நேரத்திலே பூமி மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது, உடனே அந்த நகரத்தில் பத்திலொருபங்கு இடிந்து விழுந்தது; மனுஷரில் ஏழாயிரம்பேர் பூமியதிர்ச்சியினால் அழிந்தார்கள்; மீதியானவர்கள் பயமடைந்து பரலோகத்தின் தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்கள்.

தீவுகள் யாவும் அகன்றுபோயின, பர்வதங்கள் காணப்படாமற்போயின.
