வடதிசைக்கு எதிராயிருக்கிற அறையோ, பலிபீடத்தின் காவலைக் காக்கிற ஆசாரியர்களுடையது; இவர்கள் லேவியின் புத்திரரில் கர்த்தருக்கு ஆராதனை செய்கிறதற்காக அவரிடத்தில் சேருகிற சாதோக்கின் புத்திரர் என்றார்.

வடதிசைக்கு எதிராக இருக்கிற அறையோ, பலிபீடத்தின் காவலைக்காக்கிற ஆசாரியர்களுடையது; இவர்கள் லேவியின் மகன்களில் கர்த்தருக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்கிறதற்காக அவரிடத்தில் சேருகிற சாதோக்கின் மகன் என்றார்.

ஆனால் வடக்கு நோக்கி இருக்கும் அறை பலிபீடத்தில் பணிசெய்கிற ஆசாரியரின் அறையாகும். இந்த ஆசாரியர்கள் லேவியின் தலைமுறையைச் சார்ந்தவர்கள். ஆனால் இந்த இரண்டாவது ஆசாரியக் குழு சாதோக்கின் வாரிசுகள். அவர்கள் மாத்திரமே பலிகளை பலிபீடத்திற்குச் சுமந்து சென்று கர்த்தருக்குச் சேவை செய்ய முடியும்.”

வடக்கு நோக்கி இருக்கும் அறை பீடப்பொறுப்பிலிருக்கும் குருக்களுக்கானது. இவர்கள் சாதோக்கின் மக்கள். லேவியரில் இவர்கள் மட்டுமே ஆண்டவருக்குப் பணிபுரிய அவரருகில் செல்லலாம்” என்றார்.
