எனக்கு ஆராதனை செய்கிறதற்கு என்னிடத்தில் சேருகிற சாதோக்கின் வம்சத்தாரான லேவி கோத்திரத்தாராகிய ஆசாரியர்களுக்கு நீ பாவநிவாரண பலியாக ஒரு இளங்காளையைக் கொடுப்பாயாக என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

நீ ஒரு இளங்காளையை பாவப் பரிகாரப் பலியாக சாதோக்கின் குடும்பத்தில் ஒருவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும். இந்த ஆட்கள் லேவியர் வம்சத்திலிருந்து வந்தவர்கள். அவர்கள் ஆசாரியர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.’” எனது கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் இவற்றைச் சொன்னார்:

என்னை அணுகி வந்து என் முன்னிலையில் திருப்பணிபுரியம் சாதோக்கின் வழிவந்த லேவியராகிய குருக்களுக்கு ஓர் இளங்காளையைப் பாவம் போக்கும் பலியாய்த் தர வேண்டும். இது தலைவராகிய ஆண்டவரின் அறிவிப்பு.

வடதிசைக்கு எதிராயிருக்கிற அறையோ, பலிபீடத்தின் காவலைக் காக்கிற ஆசாரியர்களுடையது; இவர்கள் லேவியின் புத்திரரில் கர்த்தருக்கு ஆராதனை செய்கிறதற்காக அவரிடத்தில் சேருகிற சாதோக்கின் புத்திரர் என்றார்.

எசேக்கியேல் 44:15

இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரே, என்னைவிட்டு வழிதப்பிப்போகையில், என் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் காவலைக் காக்கிற சாதோக்கின் புத்திரராகிய லேவியர் என்னும் ஆசாரியர்களே எனக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்ய என் சமீபத்தில் சேர்ந்து, நிணத்தையும் இரத்தத்தையும் எனக்குச் செலுத்த என் சந்நிதியில் நிற்பார்களென்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

ஆரோனின் புத்திரராய் இராத அந்நியன் ஒருவனும் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் தூபங்காட்ட வராதபடிக்கும், கோராகைப்போலும் அவன் கூட்டத்தாரைப்போலும் இராதபடிக்கும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு ஞாபகக்குறியாயிருக்கும்பொருட்டு, கர்த்தர் மோசேயைக்கொண்டு தனக்குச் சொன்னபடியே அவைகளைப் பலிபீடத்தை மூடும் தகடுகளாக அடிப்பித்தான்.

எசேக்கியேல் 45:18

கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: முதலாம்மாதம் முதலாந்தேதியிலே நீ பழுதற்ற ஒரு காளையைக் கொண்டுவந்து, பரிசுத்தஸ்தலத்துக்குப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்வாயாக.
